Stack Description

One of the reasons why many people are concerned about marijuana is that it’s viewed as a “gateway” to harder, more dangerous and addictive drugs. But is this true? Does using marijuana make you more likely to take harder drugs, or is it just that hard drug users are more likely to have used pot at some point, thus leading people to draw a false causal relation between one and the other? The evidence is mixed, but there is plenty of info on the Net for you to make your own decision, or at least get a handle on the issue.
