Act Early to Detect Autism Advocacy/Activism on Behalf of Children/Families Dealing with Autism Diagnosing Autism at Day One? For Children Under Three

Stack Description

Experts used to believe it was difficult if not impossible to diagnose autism in children before they were at least four or five years old. Today, many researchers believe it is possible to detect signs of autism in children less than two. Though there is no agreement on the earliest possible age at which a child can receive a definitive diagnosis, early detection has become increasingly important in helping autistic children lead productive, independent lives.
